The Executive
Thanks for visiting our Executive page. We are all from the beautiful area of Bruce Grey Owen Sound. Our club was created to unite like minded people and two mix fun and politics.
President - Kaisha Thompson
Kaisha is studying Political Science and Law at Carleton University. She is on the Carleton YL exec as Vice President Social. Meaford is her home and headquarters.
Vice President - Andrew Loucks
Andrew is studying at Queens University. He spent his first year in England but is now in Kingston, although his true home is Chesley.
Vice President - Chris Walker
Chris is an active student politician at Wilfrid Laurier University. He lives in Waterloo while attending school. Chris is from Dobbinton, outside Chesley.
Policy Chair - Chris Unruh
Chris is a recent graduate from the University of Victoria Law School. He is currently living in Chesley and working at a law firm there.
Treasurer - Rachelle Gingras
Rachelle is working on her Bachelors of Concurrent Education at Nipissing University. She moved to Meaford after living in BC for most of her childhood.
Secretary - Robyn Beardsall
Robyn is currently working to start a YL club at Laurentian University where she is studying. She hopes to be a teacher.
Media Director - Holly Featherstone
Holly is a Flesherton girl and Conestoga College graduate. She is our newest addition to the BGOSYL executive. Holly is a student journalist extraordinaire and we are looking forward to her press releases and editorials on behalf of this club.
Currently our executive has strong roots in both Meaford and Chesley. In order to balance our club geographically we are looking for members to fill Director positions for the various regions, like Owen Sound, Tobermory, Flesherton etc.
